What is the StLGS News Flash?

StLGS News Flash is a web log, known as a blog. Our blog is a way we can let you know about items of interest, remind you about meetings, share important events or cancellations, or send you information immediately instead of waiting for the first of the month when our newsletter goes out. We can also help our colleagues in local genealogical and historical societies and libraries/archives out in advertising their upcoming events, something we can’t always do because of space restrictions in our monthly newsletter. You can find our blog at this address: http://stlgs.blogspot.com .

What Does the News Flash Cost?

We maintain the StLGS News Flash as a free convenient way to keep informed of StLGS activities. It is open to members and non-members alike.

How Do I Subscribe to StLGS News Flash?

You can click on the link on our home page or go directly to the blog. If you choose to do the latter, go to http://stlgs.blogspot.com . Once you are on the News Flash home page, look on the right side and you will see a box that says “Subscribe via E-Mail.” Enter your e-mail address and click on the “Subscribe” button. Then follow the directions. You will have to type some letters or numbers to verify that you are a real person and not a spammer. Once you have done that, you will get a note in your inbox. Clicking on the link will activate your subscription. Then, whenever there is news to share, it will arrive directly to your mailbox.
