The Modern Woodmen of America is a fraternal benefit society founded in Iowa in 1883. Their headquarters moved to Illinois a year later, and they are still an active organization with almost three-quarters of a million members. They offer financial planning and life insurance services to their members and their families.

Camp 5368 was organized in Grover, St. Louis County, Missouri. The records shared with StLGS include the name of the member, when he joined the camp, age, occupation, address, and the beneficiary and relationship to the member.

Lynne Martin, president of the Wildwood Historical Society, contributed this information for publication in the 2000 St. Louis Genealogical Society Quarterly, volume 33, number 2, pages 51–56.
