St. John Lutheran Church is located in Ellisville, in St. Louis County. These records contain the name of the child, father and mother, plus the birth and baptismal dates. In many cases, the mother’s maiden name is included.

The church’s baptismal records are complete starting in 1856; however, some years are in German script. Further transcription is required for the missing years. The microfilm records are available at Concordia Seminary and the Emerson History and Genealogy Center at St. Louis County Library Clark Family Branch.
