| 1767 | Clement Delor de Treget establishes a village south of St. Louis. |
| 1794 | Delor’s Village is officially called “Carondelet” taking its name from the governor of the Louisiana Territory. |
| 1818 | First Carondelet Church, Our Lady of Mount Carmel and St. Joseph of the Angels, is built. |
| 1826 | Carondelet sells 1,800 acres of land to the United States government for $5. The land eventually becomes Jefferson Barracks. |
| 1832 | Eiler’s survey establishes the boundaries of Carondelet and it is incorporated as a town. |
| 1870 | On April 7, the City of Carondelet is annexed by the City of St. Louis. |
