Vice President for Programs  (Two-year term): Donna Foelsch 

Donna Foelsch was born and raised in St. Louis and has always been interested in family history. She joined St. Louis Genealogical Society in 1993 and became a lifetime member in 2021. Her volunteer projects have included indexing German records, scanning documents for indexing, and working at the society’s annual Trivia Night, the Family History Conference, and the Speaker Series. For the past two years, Donna has served as vice-president for programs, organizing the schedules for meetings, classes, and all the society’s special events. Donna is the liaison to all our speakers and works closely with the Zoom team, the programs committee, and publicity and publications directors.

Interim Treasurer (Two-year term): Michelle Pearce

Michelle Pearce is currently serving as StLGS treasurer, a position she’s held for the past four years. Michelle has agreed to continue in her position until a qualified candidate can be found to serve as the society’s treasurer. An avid researcher and longtime member of StLGS, Michelle works both in the office several days a week and at home, whenever she is needed to work on financial records. Before taking her current position, Michelle served as vice-president for membership, and before that, she organized and digitized the society’s large collection of surname files. She also worked one day a week entering financial data at the office. Since becoming treasurer, Michelle has worked diligently to keep the society’s financial records in good order. When she is not doing genealogy, Michelle is making functional pottery at the Craft Alliance Studio in the Makers District of the Central West End in St. Louis City.
