Pastoral Diary

When Friedens UCC shared their records with StLGS, they included a diary kept by one or more of the pastors from 1898 through 1920. The early entries are in German, although the data itself is easy to read. The diary lists births, confirmations, marriages, and deaths from Missouri, Illinois, Indiana, and Kentucky plus additional states from which people appear to have migrated in and out of the St. Louis area.

PDF files that contain the scans of the original diary pages are linked below. The scanned pages contain all the information available from the diary. Each file contains many pages, so be sure to make note of the page numbers you need, located in the Page #/Entry # columns.
