Earl Fischer was a Life Member of the St. Louis Genealogical society until his death in 1999. Throughout his life, he collected information on St. Louisans, which he compiled into a computer program. The result is a database of nearly 30,000 individuals in nearly 7,500 families.
The St. Louis Genealogical Society received this data as a gift from his widow, and it is now made available for your use on this Web Site. The Society does not have any further data on these families.
This is a large database, which has been divided here into many web pages. All individuals are presented in the database in alphabetical order, with linkages (where available) between generations. To access the database, simply click on the letter of the alphabet for the surname you are researching.
Once you have found your surname in the list, clicking on the surname will take you to an alphabetical listing (by first name) of all people in the database with that surname. Clicking on the name of a person will then take you directly to that person in the database. From there, you can scroll through all persons of that surname, or click on a parent's name or a child's name (if available) to take you to that person.
To return to the Table of Contents, scroll to the bottom of any page in the database and click on the "Return to Table of Contents" button.
