Genealogical Assistance at StLGS

The Society’s office is staffed with a number of volunteers. Among these volunteers is a great deal of expertise which we are happy to share with visitors to the office. A partial list of areas of expertise includes:

  • St. Louis area research
  • Missouri research
  • Illinois research
  • French ancestry
  • German ancestry
  • Irish ancestry
  • Jewish/Eastern European ancestry
  • Genealogical resources on the Internet
  • Genealogical software programs
  • Publishing your family history

Please Stop by . . .

We love to have visitors stop by our office, even if it’s just to say “Hello.” If you have a specific research question, we especially invite you to come into the office to speak with one of our local experts.

. . . But Let us Know You’re Coming

Because we are an all-volunteer Society, not all volunteers are in the office every day. So we strongly encourage you to call in advance to be sure that someone will be available to answer your specific question(s) when you do come in.
