Class Info.: This four-hour, two-session class will provide an overview, which covers such things as how to get started, use basic records, cite sources, and discover what is in repositories and on the Internet.

RootsMagic: Advanced Skills Instructor: Ted Steele
Date: 9 November 2013 Day: Saturday Time: 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Class Info: This is an advanced class for genealogists who already own and are familiar with RootMagic. This class will focus on correcting errors, unlinking people, merging people or places, searching, and creating reports. Learn how to make GEDCOMS as well. Bring a copy of your own family file on a flash drive, and/or your own laptop, if you like.
Class size: 7-12 students Cost: $20 for StLGS members; $30 for non-members

This class is full except for those who can bring their own laptops.

Class Info: If you have been to the FamilySearch.org website recently, you have noticed that the entire site has undergone a drastic change. This four-hour, two-session class will cover the new resources available form this old favorite.

Class Info.: Learn old German handwriting and standard content of church records. Practice writing and reading in this afternoon workshop.
