Monthly meetings, co-sponsored by the St. Louis Genealogical Society and the St. Louis County Library, are held once a month except for one month in early spring when we hold the Family History Conference and in December. Most meetings are webinars, held in-person and virtually, via Zoom. The exception is our January meeting, which is usually held just as a Zoom meeting. Beginning in late summer of 2024, meetings will take place in the Clark Family Branch of the St. Louis County Library and will be, as always, open to the public. Google Map to the Library

Program Topics

The program topics and speakers are announced in the society’s blog, StLGS News Flash, in our Facebook group, on our Facebook News and Events page and on our Twitter feed, as well as on the society website. There are usually no meetings in April or May (because of the annual Family History Conference) or in December (because of the holidays).

Monthly Meetings Provide:

  • Speakers who are experts in their field
  • Information that will be helpful in your research
  • Opportunities to meet with others of similar specific interests
  • Suggestions and guidance toward solving family history problems
